The New Jersey Devils have trade the rights to Ilya Kovalchuk to Atlanta in exchange for Rich Peverley and a 2nd rounder.

i dont think nj owns Kovy rights. I could be wrong but since this league started when real FA had already began, Kovy is an unowned FA.

Yeah i think that you're right Kings.. and even if ATL has Kovy's rights.. they won't be able to sign him because he just doesn't want to play there anymore. He declined 10 years - 100M with Atlanta...

Peverley was your 2nd line Center, and every admins agreed to veto this trade.

well since free agency on our game hasnt started he should be still with the devils i know what you mean, but the rosters in this league are as of July 27th, and Kovy wasnt apart of the Devils organization, therefore NJ doesnt even own his rights

well i traded the rights to kozlov to washington and nothing happened so wat uve got to be consistant with this stuff
