I agree with the Oilers Gm, I also made an offer to him & useually it takes at least 24 H for a player to decide what team he's going to.
Is he still an RFA?

Here's my understanding of what happened (a lot of speculation): NYR got his roster and saw Shea Weber wasn't expiring so he didn't bother to re-sign him. One GM looked and saw Shea Weber was suppose to be an RFA/UFA in 2011-2012 and didn't see a re-signing posted so he decides to sign him. San Jose puts in bid and wins after only a few hours of being posted.
Now people are complaining about the quickness of him signing with SJ but I think NYR is like I was in the Chris Phillips situation except he hasn't noticed yet lol.

Well as much as I could use Weber on my young blue line (I have the cap space too), I think he should be returned to NYR. It's the only fair thing to do especially since I am pretty sure that's what happened since he was still listed on NYR's roster with one year left.
Maybe post a list of guys that are in FA (maybe do like a top 30 list while were in season so it's not as much work). Is there a way to import that too? I'm just trying to come up with ideas to make it work.
